ESPN Announces Big Layoffs

According to a report, the sports network ESPN will lay off at least 100 on-air personalities and writers on Wednesday. ESPN president John Skipper said in a statement Wednesday morning, "We will implement changes in our talent lineup this week. A limited number of other positions will also be affected and a handful of new jobs will be posted to fill various needs." The layoffs come as recent reports say that ESPN has lost more than 10 million subscribers during the past several years.
