Students build Cold Frame to grow winter greens

Students at Seven Hills School, a private middle school for boys in Richmond, Va., build a cold frame box out of wood and storm windows. Teacher and garden coordinator Lee Bristow led the effort and said they would be planting greens under the frame for a winter garden. The students routinely eat what they plant during the day. Dominion Foundation gave a grant to finance the project.
